Hello! I am SO happy you are here because that means you have chosen to put forth the EXTRA effort to learn more about our classroom lessons and earn EXTRA points to save up for a very special reward!
First, let's talk about this blog. Every Friday, I will post an extra activity that you should complete at home with an adult -- parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or friends. Once you complete the activity, you must submit it to me in class, no later than Thursday of the following week.
Now, let's talk about the important things -- your points and rewards. :-) For every EXTRA activity that you complete, you will receive 10 points. You can use your points immediately, or you can save your points and add them together for a better reward.
Are you ready to see your possible rewards??? Here they are:
10 points: 10 minutes of reading time on any Friday after lunch.
20 points: Go to lunch 5 minutes early with a friend on any Friday.
30 points: Go to lunch 10 minutes early with a friend on any Friday.
40 points: Have lunch with Mrs. Shaffer on any Friday.
50 points: 15 minutes of computer time to be used after recess.
60 points: Have lunch with your favorite teacher.
70 points: Sit at Mrs. Shaffer's desk for 1 day.
80 points: 1 EXTRA recess!
90 points: 1 "free" assignment!
100 points: 2 "free" assignments!!
